Buffalo Chicken Bites (Instant Pot)
Description
A quick and simple recipe in the instant pot to help jumpstart your taste buds.
Ingredients
- 1.5 - 2 lbs boneless chicken cut into 1" pieces
- 2 eggs
Breading
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Sauce
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Garnish
- 1 green onion thinly sliced
Steps
- In one bowl whisk eggs and in a second bowl mix all breading ingredients
- Dip pieces of chicken into the eggs, coat with breadcrumbs. Repeat until all chicken is coated
- Select AIR FRY. Set temperature to 375°F and set time for 15 minutes. Press START
- Arrange chicken pieces into single layer on the cooking tray. Once display shows ADD FOOD, place try into air fryer. Cook bites in batches if needed.
- When display shows Turn Food, carefully flip the bites with tongs
- While chicken is cooking, combine Sauce ingredients
- When cooking program ends, carefully remove chicken, and place pieces into bowl
- Pour hot sauce over chicken and toss until evenly coated
- Plate, garnish, server and enjoy
